The immaterial labour of used pantie sellers creates a commodity reliant on the value placed upon it by another. It has no functional purpose (outside that of a fetishized object). A virtual experience maintains a safe distance between any actual-connection, the underwear as relic to the fetishized projection of ones desires. The material representation of the immaterial act. But it is not to whom the panties belonged, but the possibilities of the anonymity, the treasure of malleability.
Can these virtual interactions begin to materialise the significance of virtual constructs and how can we reclaim autonomy through the material object?
How do we begin to materialise our virtual representations?
How do we situate the physical significance of immaterial labour?
How do our metaphysical interactions affect our material construct?
What power can the object hold within our virtual culture?
And to what extent can we reclaim ownership over the fetishized representation of our own autonomy?
The intimates’ index will lead to an index of such precious waste with the price set by the contributor with details of the contributor and buyer included.
